I'M AAAAAALLLLIIIVVVVEEEEEEE!!!!
So, the doctor called yesterday to check on me and said that she scheduled me to get some iv fluids. The conversation went like this:
Anne: How are you feeling?
Me: The same, still yucky.
Anne: Okay, I'm going to schedule you an ER visit to get some IV fluids.
Me: Well, what if I promise to drink a gallon of liquids today?
Anne: How many ounces have you drank so far?
Me: About 6 or 8.
Anne: Jaclyn, its 1pm, quit negotiating.
Me: Ok, when are where should I be?
So, I showed up at the ER at 3 and got all checked in. Cody got off work at 3:30 so he came to sit with me. They gave me two bags of fluids, some AMAZING headache medicine (which I can not spell) and Zofran via IV all was great. I left very tired but feeling like a rockstar!!
While we were there we heard a ladies water break and her screaming from contractions.....I admit - I was freaked out!! Yikes!
The cute little monkey that Cody brought to me after he got some food! We love the idea of a sock monkey nursery or just monkey's in general ;)
I woke up this morning and still feel good. I am going to drink as much as possible -Hopefully an entire gatorade and 20 oz of water is the goal!!
I ate some tater tots for breakfast and feeling good ;) What's for lunch you ask? Well, my favorite staple of course.... 1/2 of a PB&J and half of a pop tart if I can manage them both!!
I hope this all passes soon! I had no idea they had to put you in the hospital. Poor Jaclyn!
ReplyDeleteHang in there girl! This phase will pass........I promise!!! SOOOO over the moon for you. Enduring the hard parts of pregnancy are the first steps of motherhood. You are doing great...keeps the posts coming! MA
