Kingston Update.... Month 4 - May 2012

Sweet Bubbie:

You have lots of nicknames!!! Bubbie is my favorite this month. Daddy loves to call you sweet cheeks and jive turkey when your fussing! You are such a joy. A joy who doesn't like to sleep and fusses a lot but we love you all the same ;)

Each day is a new adventure with you. You love to be outside. You love to jump. You love to be entertained. You love to be loved! ;)

Your daddy and me snuggle with you and play with you every chance we have.

You are growing up too fast!!

Kingston Update.... Month 3 - April 2012

Sweet Boogie:

You are now THREE months old and still changing every day! You enjoy your play mat, swinging, and love to be outside!

You have now discovered your FEET. You love to hold them and roll around like a rolly polley! You still enjoy eating your hands too. Daddy doesn't like the hands in your mouth though. He doesn't want you to get germs! You follow mommy & daddy's voices and smile a LOT! You are growing more hair and we spiked your two hairs into a fo-hawk! You love when anyone gives you attention (even strangers at the store) and talks to you.

You are becoming more content and less fussy! You will play and talk to yourself. It's so precious!

This month was eventful. On April 3 we took you to the doctor for a consult and you were diagnosed with reflux. Mommy had a gut feeling that you were in pain. You weighed 12 lbs 3 oz. The doctor prescribed medication twice a day for reflux.

You got worse and we took you to Vandy for xrays & an ultrasound to be sure there was not an obstruction. Thank goodness it wasn't. You were diagnosed with reflux and colic. You have always been fussy since birth, but we don't mind. This is what we prayed for. A sweet baby and that's what you are!!

You went through a week and a 1/2 of only sleeping about 4 or 5 hours a night. Mommy and daddy were beat down and exhausted. You must have sensed it, because you started sleeping through the night again. You rounded out the month starting to sleep from 8pm to 6:30 am (on the dot) every morning. You are our little alarm clock! ;)

Easter was this month, the Easter bunny visited and was good to you! We have lots of pictures from our walks and you napping with daddy! Those were from the early mornings you refused to sleep. Mommy had to get ready for work. Mommy would put you in bed with daddy and you would snuggle up and snooze. You were both snoring!

Kingston Update.... Month 2 - March 2012

Sweet Boogie:

You are now TWO months old and still changing every day!! You like to swing still, play on your playmat and your bouncer is now fun too! You love to be outside for walks, mommy takes you for a walk every day & if its raining we will sit in the garage and eat a bottle and watch the rain!

You have discovered your hands and love to suck on your fists. You follow mommy & daddy's voices and smile when you see us! You are growing more hair and love when anyone gives you attention and talks to you. You laugh when daddy laughs too, it's so sweet!

This month you went on your first road trip to Nana & Papaw's house. You met your Uncle Michael, Aunt Tricia and cousins Nicole and Chase. You met lots of your second cousins and great Aunts and Uncles too. Everyone wants to hold you and cuddle! Mommy went back to work this month and it was rough. I didn't cry, but it was very sad and I thought about you all day and still do!! You had your first St. Patrick's day celebration, which consisted of drinking lots of milk! You also went on your second road trip to Mimi and Papa Lee's house in Alabama. You are a good car rider and really only fuss when your wet or hungry. You love it when mommy or daddy sent it the back with you and talk to you. You LOVE attention.

You officially started sleeping through the night! The last two weeks of March you slept from 730pm to 530 or 6 am! Mommy was so excited and would get up and high five you for your great sleeping skills!

You got 3 shots and one liquid medication. Mommy and daddy both stayed in the room. You cried for a brief minute and then stopped once we fed you ;) Such a big boy!!
